Laying out the instrument panel. I got the panel to the shape I liked, I will be going non traditional in the shape and choice of instruments. what you see will be totally enclosed into a box structure and then shock mounted to the airplane. Since I won't need a starter battery or a battery at all "will use a ac/dc inverter to power critical instruments" a tiny lipo battery will provide emergency power in case of a engine failure. One of the neat things about these instruments is you can wire in a small warning light if you get near stall or vne speeds.

Your build looks good. And you are moving quickly with it.

My himax will be flying by spring of 2019!  Wing spar construction is going gang busters. And with the help of keath and his ribs, this may he the fastest built himax in world history!

Alan's plane is a beauty. It inspired skyblazer and I to build our Max's. Watched his video many times. Great landing up hill, LOL. I am looking at a side view picture of it right as I sit here writing this.

I think I found "alans" video. The only video of a himax, were the pilot had to taxi to the "top" of the mountain to make sure nobody was coming to make his "video"

One front right wing spar done, finishing up the front left. Had to order another bargain bag of wood from aircraft spruce so I can finish, turns out I used every single piece from the last batch.

I actually downloaded Alan's plane flight if you'd like it. I might be able to send it, not sure.

The rear wing spars are under way and it will be huge and happen so fast, you will have no idea what happened.

My max spars

I have finished all four spars except I just need to add the shear webs to the rear spars. I misspoke when I said huge, I meant to say YUGE!  

A hurricane is a coming, best to prepare before the storm. Hurricane Michael will hit but that is the least of my worries.

I never promote violence, just for patriots to protect them selves, This hurricane I heard will be big, Looters will be shot on site.

The wings should start to come together shortly. All four spars are completed. Chasin paper sometimes gets in the way.  

I will be getting my engine from team! I will order it tomorrow, because we are all one big Team!

rotax 277! The wings are coming together, everthing is coming together so fast that the average person might get their mind blown! just sayin! Not trying to come off as a A hole! The wing spars and ribs are completed,I will do my best to help team out! team will take my money, except when it comes to the engine!

Laying out the ribs and spars for the wing. Ran out of 1/8" birch ply so the gluing process will be delayed.

Love your build so far! I really can't wait to see how your instrument panel comes out, I'm excited to make mine.
