Looks great Raphael.   What is the power of the engine?   When is first flight?

Hello Bruce,
The power is a tuned 440 stationary single cylinder engine called Fortex. This engine had some parts replaced, and now it is turning 6.300 RPM. Did not measure the static thrust, but it apparently it has lots of power.
I am still in the certification process. Meanwhile I am giving the last details to the plane. Soon I will do the first hops.

First Himax hop.
The tuned stationary 4T 438cyl is more than enough power for it https://youtu.be/CUkbTikgK4M?feature=shared

Well done, Raphael

Your Himax looks great, and a very well controlled first hop.

I'm sure you will enjoy many more hours in your new plane.

I am an airline pilot, and in my 26 years flying never flew a so so docile plane. As easier as the J3 Cub.

Well done Raphael!  Great to see another well built Max take to the air.

Low level circuit!

Yes, the Max's are a really easy to fly, fun  family of aeroplanes. I hope you enjoy many hours of flying time in your new Himax.

I am having lots of fun with my Max.
Some improvements to be done yet, but I am very happy with this little plane.
Lots of work to finish the plane, but in the end it worths the working.
Hope you all in the forum have a nice 2024, with lots of flies!
