Hey everyone,
As most of you know I’m building an 1100r with a modification for a 45 hp 1/2 VW.
I’m looking for recommendations for the engine area. Should I glass it with some West Systems epoxy? What do you recommend?
I will be using Acrylic paint for the scheme hit realize I need something fuel proof in the engine area.
Thanks for the help!

Dennis

What kind of acrylic are you using for the rest of the aircraft?  There are a lot of different options these days, some will be way more durable and resistant than others.  I work in paint retail, so I may have some options for you.
