Bruce,  thank you!
After those years on my aviation endeavor today I turned 65 years of age.
Introspection nothing to proved and indeed I loved and happy with it!
My best regards to you.

Hey Phil
Congratulations buddy!!! You worked hard for many years to get to this point. You did not give up and stayed with it. I remember when you made a great big model of it many years ago. Now, make sure you take pictures of some of your flights so we all can enjoy with you. I am so happy you made it. And Happy birthday too!
Bob

Fly safe and have fun.

Hey buddy! Bob, thank you!!
It was hard to think of those years passed along with our passion in life should I say enthusiasm and commitment that only ourselves understands the inner reasons of why and how and dont bother of when?
With you Bob. You did it right for me to endure...you're ahead of time and I got your support thru constant
communication.
Soon it will be on youtube those comfiled clip including full aerial footage of that 8 minute longest flight of my life!
Its my birthday!  Thank God for everything. God blessed us...
Sincerely
Phil

Nice job. Saw a video of the flight on the net. There was a lot of shouting from the crowd during the final base to final  Landing approach. The max started to drop abruptly but then there were shouts of relief with the words"Very Good" repeated a few times.

That was interesting.

Congratulations Phil,

It surely was an exiting first landing, but you handled it resolutely. Well done indeed. It seemed that as soon as you reduced the power a bit the engine seized. And belated congratulation on you 65th birthday.

Jacob,
Thank you. Everything has its own place in time. I guess it was a miracle with divine intervention.
And I thank God our creator for everything.

lsaupe,

My first experience with free air cooled..have to deal with and I would be hsppy if I'm lucky. LOL.
