Hey everyone.  I'm just about to construct my elevator and was hoping to build an integrated trim tab into it.  I've seen a number of planes with this mod, but haven't found any plans for it or even suggestions.  Any of you have any experience you can share?

I love my trim system, no tab needed and the elevator will not droop when parked.

Two springs are attached to the control stick, one pulling forward and one backward. The rear spring is attached to a cable allowing the tension to be adjusted by a dial.

The dial comes with everything needed including the springs, but it is a little costly at $120 http://www.aeroconversions.com/products/trim/
I suspect someone could come up with a cheap DIY dial too....

Ulbuilder, that trim system actually looks like a good idea. Thanks for the link, I may go that route.
