Dang that's beautiful. looks antique actually. I have a question, tho. Is the windshield actually under the top bow? That will produce drag, and may pop loose on you if it is. could be a safety issue.

I'm absolutely in love with the engine placement and cowling.

1600cc? What prop are you running and what are you getting for static rpm (if you've got that far). Are you running any kind of carb heat setup? I find the cowl on mine traps a lot of heat up around the carb and I get a lot of condensation on the bottom of the manifold (enough that water droplets come back and hit the windscreen in flight) but with 151hrs on my setup I have yet to get any icing.

congrats!  Is that an integrated trim tab slot on your elevator?  I've seen them before but haven't seen any plans that have it.  I'd love to put one in mine.

It is a trim slot, it has slits for hinges and the little trim tab is slit so that the hinge is hidden. It’s made like the elevator slot and hinges just miniature lol.

[quote=610]I love it. Must sound great with the VW.  [/quote   It sounds pretty good with the 4 stroke and straight headers , I will put a couple more links, I did a differential brake setup that I am very pleased with, I can brake one wheel and it turns on a dime, this can be a double edged sword however inviting the ground loop monster into my life lol.
