I have both plans for the 1600 and Eros. I am finding conflicting data online (I have searched extensively). The weight of the Eros and spec's sheet is different in different places!  Also, I have heard the glide ratio of the Eros is better then the others (which is important to me) However, the plans show the same amount of ribs for both of these airplanes. From what I can see in the plans, there is not much difference between the two. Did something change over the years such as; the glide ratio, weight, amount of ribs etc?

The glide ratio will depend mostly on what measures you make to reduce drag. The Eros u/c is probably less draggy than the cross beam axle, but you will see huge improvements in slipperiness if you fair the struts, undercarriage; empennage struts, etc. I posted pix of all my mods on here.
