I think my aircraft will be off to another home and I think it still has some fun to give to somebody. I have bought a Rans S6, Taildragger, naturally and so won't be around here other than looking in from time to time so this is farewell
Thanks to all of you for your help, encouragement and advice, don't forget to give George his medication and keep on flying low and slow. Blue skies to you all.

Good luck Tom and I hope you won't get too bored after stepping down from a MiniMax.

Hey Tom
I bought a 1946 Aeronca Chief back in 2012. Am still here. Have friends here and can still help once in a while. Dont be a stranger. Newbies need help to get started and keep going. Good luck and fly safe bud. As for george, who cares, LOL.
Bob

Fly safe and have fun.

Tom I am happy that you are able to do what you want and best wishes with your new ventures. Please stop in and let us know how everything is going with the Rans and pictures of the new plane are always welcome. Keep your nose down in the turns.

Good luck Tom. I'd been with Rans S12. I built for a friend, test flown  and more than 30 hrs. The structural design not so strong but handles good on strong and gusty winds.
Take care.
Phil

Hey Tom, I purchased my Rans S6s  over 12 years ago.....and Im still here...and loving both. the 1500R and the Rans....my rans is a nosewheel...im still in training mode.....as often I taxi with the nosewheel 10 inches above the ground at around 20 knots....it sort of feels like a wheellie on a motor bike..LOL
