I need to cut the 45 deg bevel as per attached instruction but am after some advise on how others have done it?

The stringers are glued in place already.

Thanks, Mick

Mick,
I built my wings 25 years ago so I don't remember exactly how I did mine, but if I were to do after the RS-17 was glued in place like yours I would use a Master Airscrew Razor plane. I've used these on a lot of projects over the years and it should work well on RS-17. Its small, easy to handle and the blades are very sharp. You might find this plane at a local hobby shop or you could them from hobby King. Be sure to get some extra blades.

Thanks everyone.

One of my biggest concerns is ruining the work done so far by using the wrong tool for the job. I will take it slow and steady and plane it down.

Cheers, Mick
