Greetings,

It's been a long time since I've seen an Airbike in person, and since I'm considering building one, I'd be interested in refreshing my memory.  I'm in east TN, and would like to take a look if you have an Airbike at an airport somewhere, assuming it ever stops raining...

Also, where to the lighter planes fly around here?  I can't recall seeing any at the larger airports I've been to (McMinn, Monroe, Crossville).

Thanks,
Rusty

Hi Rusty,
Although not in eastern TN, my AirBike is in NC at BQ1 in Carthage, just north of Pinehurst.  You're welcome to come take a look, if you're ever in the area.
Best regards,
Jeff

Monte, the seat and cushion are from the original TEAM aircraft group.  Sorry I can't help with a current source.

Phil, I moved up my timeline a bit.  Couldn't resist making the move from MA to NC when we found a great place to live.  Is your AirBike flying yet?

Jeff,

Thanks for the picture and offer to visit.  Sorry I didn't see this sooner, but I haven't been to the forum since I picked up a Kolb Slingshot project early in the year.  That plane is signed off, and ready to fly, and I just keep coming back to the Airbike, so I'll be hanging around again.  So, if anyone in range of east TN has an Airbike, or parts to sell, I'll be interested.

Thanks,
Rusty
