Hello all! My name is travis. I just scored (or at least i think i scored) on a classic mini max kit. Project for my dad and to complete... this popped up a couple years ago for about $2500 and i couldn't make it happen.. but then didn't know anything about team mini-max. But have been wanting one ever since. And here it is again. Some 2 years later up for sale again but super reduced price! I had to make it happen! So I convinced my dad to go pick it up for me... the problem is now he doesn't want to give it up! Everything looks to be in fantastic shape considering the age and ware on the plans. But i figured i had better join some good online groups for support! And i think i found a good one! Any help and advice you guys have would be fantastic! But i just wanted to say hello to everyone! And share my score!

Good score Travis. Where are you located? It's possible that there might be help close by. Also it's possible that there will be a kit #, or date on some of your paperwork.
Another clue could be if the kit came from Tennessee, Indiana, or Michigan. Finally Dave Copper at the current TEAM Co. will support you with your build.

Thanks greg! I live in Cloverdale California. I know there's a good group of guys here at this little airport that scratch design and build STOL planes so i gotta mosie my way in with some doughnuts. Right now the kit is with my dad in redding but should be on its way to me soon. His new grand daughter will see to that. But i plan to do a detailed inventory soon as it arrives and put together a list of things to complete. I will certainly look for any clues to help figure out an age/origin on it. Thanks for the tips!
