Anybody still active here that has experience with floats on a max? I am only getting hits for carb floats on the search function, but google had a hit for this site on flying floats. I'm wondering about secondary attachment points (naturally wheel axle as main) but for second float strut (?) attatchment to transfer the pitching movement of the float to the fusalage. Any information/experience would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also interested in that.  I think it would be a lot of fun! As well as skiis!  I'd love to fly my max anywhere at any time.

Quoted from aeronut
Google Muktuc floats.

That is actually one of the only "hits" I can find on it.  Not to b.s. Around, my max is my experimenting/testing/validation of my math work horse.  I can do a reverse analysis of the airframe to determine a functional mount, but was looking for a quicker way, I.e a proven mount without buying plans.   I've already calculated the float dimensions and angles, made patterns, and hotwired foam cores for a composite mold.  It's a step towards a larger goal. Thank you though
