Anyone familiar with the Max103 by Randy Lewis shown on the TEAM website?

https://www.teammini-max.com/online-store/aircraft-kits/1030f-max-103/

By chance, is he on this forum?

As I recall, Randy was pretty active years ago during his build. His Max was one that really caught my attention when I first became interested in these birds. Not sure if he still lurks here or not.

According to the FAA registration N213MW is no longer owned by Randy Lewis and belongs to someone from Hemet California. Here's the link to the FAA registration for the airplane.

Your post got me thinking back a decade, so I looked back through archives. Doing so confirmed my recollection Randy may have used the Max-103 plans, but he came in considerably over Part 103 weight limits. Not a judgement at all, just saying that N213MW featured on Max-103 page of Team website doesn't mean its actually a Part 103 legal bird. Obviously, he chose experimental AB anyway, so sort of moot.

It is a great looking Max. Was listed on Barnstormers last year.

Thanks for all the feedback.  Sure is a nice looking build (love the paint scheme).
