I am ready to wrap plywood around the nose ribs.  Should I pull the staples after  the glue is dry?

On my next build I was considering using binder clips instead of staples.

If you use staples I think you should pull them.

Yes. They corrode over time, weigh and add no strength.

I used heavy rubber bands rapped around the leading edge at each rib location to hold the plywood tight against the ribs. Use a stick on the aft side of the spar to attach the rubber bands to. You will still need to staple the plywood to the spar cap on top and bottom and I would remove those when the glue dried.

It is worth mentioning that staples whether pulled or not somewhat weaken these structures.  There was a NACA study which quantified it for wing ribs.  Of course these ribs were intended to be strong enough with the use of staples, but it is just something to bear in mind in making decisions on staples vs. clamping, etc.
