Fellas - in case of a RAID failure here on my network, I put some documents in my dropbox account for recovery purposes. It is my understanding that these documents are in the public domain even though ANC-19 can be a bit of a bear to track down. I don't think I'm breaking any copyright regulations, but if someone thinks I am, please let me know and i'll remove the links.
Many of you probably already have these documents, but for those of you who do not, here ya go.
Military Specification 6073 (MIL-S-6073): I became rather interested in the details of this document recently in just trying to understand what wood works best. Naturally, some of the folks at EAA and the plethora of other builders here can provide guidance and expertise on aircraft grade lumber, but it seems fascinating enough to try to get a decent handle on it myself.
Again, i'm not aware that i'm breaking any copyright issues here but please let me know if you think I am and I will remove the documents immediately.
