Yamaha has been building a 4 stroke snowmobile engine that is about a 1000cc's. It puts out a 100 HP or so. Does anyone know about the use of this engine in an airplane?

I recently read about Genesis Aircraft using the four stroke Yamaha snowmobile engines on their airplanes. Can't remember where the article was written though. Mark

It looks like it could be a fairly successful conversion but is a way too much engine for 'Maxes.
