I searched the old database but could not find this.
Also, Culver's website had no info.

I am installing a culver prop to my rotax 277.
Anyone know about the proper torque spec for the bolts?

On a set of instruction that came with a prop purchased from the origional Culver Props was the notatiom of 200 inch lbs + or_  25 inch lbs.  I marjed this on the prop with magic marker wher the prop plate would cover it.  Divide both numbers by 12 to convert to foot lbs.   John

That would be with 6, 1/4" bolts right?

On checking,  the poundage given was for 5/16 bolts.  John

Dear Smokinjo,

I think the correct torque for 1/4 in bolts is 125 inch lbs.  I'm working from memory with Tennessee wood props.

Good luck,

This may be a little off subject, but aren't Rotax drive hubs on their gearboxes tapped for quarter inch and 8 MM?
