Yesterday I run my MZ201 engine for the first time. It has been a steep learning curve for me, but now I see the way forward again.  A big thanks to Bruce (beragoobruce) that came to help me, I could not have done this without him.

That's quite a engine run stand you built! I take it the engine ran well and you're pleased? HP? Weight?

Giacomo has done an excellent job with his Max.

The engine stand is a clever bit of engineering in wood, with the engine able to move in a horizontal plane, meaning that by adding a spring balance he can measure static thrust. The engine ran really well.

The airframe is almost complete, and is beautifully built. It is a joy to behold, with meticulous attention to detail.

Well done on a great job, Giacomo. You're on the back of the steep build slope now!

Ah...I now see the rollers on the side that are part of the slide mechanism. Nice to have the ability of measuring thrust, not merely running the engine and making wind.
