Haven't weighed it but around 130/140lbs without the flywheel I would estimate. Prop hub is an old one, parallel (as is the crank nose). This was built from two engines, the donor was a French 'Ardem' engine.
The photos show: A general view of the hub, loosely fitted. BUT it became necessary to machine a spacer to take up the difference between the crank nose and the hub face because without it, there was never any end float and the engine was virtually seized!
The other pics show the modification of the Honda CBR Alternator rotor ( centre machined for accuracy and a new centre TiG welded in. This was an exacting task! The three components can be seen in another photo. The actual thrust was machined from a complete flywheel (not by me).
The gland nut also had to be shortened to suit and the thread extended.
2 magnets are glued to the rotor which fire the ignition, the triggers are inside the circuit boxes.
